Destination St. Maarten/St. Martin

The beauty, the beaches, the cultural unity of Sint Maarten-Saint Martin; come enjoy, experience all it has to offer.
The island of Sint Maarten-Saint Martin is the smallest land mass in the world to be shared by two different nations - the French and the Dutch. Only 37 square miles are governed by France and the Kingdom of the Netherlands (where Dutch Sint Maarten is an independent country within the Kingdom).  Vacationers get the best of both worlds - the opportunity to enjoy three distinct cultures; the delightfulness and soberness of the Dutch on one side, the savoir-faire of the French on the other, and the blending of both with exotic native heritage.

Visit anytime but for a GREAT celebration, visit around the 10th of October - the day Sint Maarten became an Independent Nation (the 10th of October 2010); the southern part, called the 'Dutch Side', became an independent nation within the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
