The Sunshine State has about 825 miles of beaches, from the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic.  In addition to the miles of beaches, it's a "playground" of water - from oceans to lakes and rivers, to natural springs - for snorkeling and diving, kiteboarding and kayaking, tubing and powerboating. That's not forget the many theme Parks - Disney, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and LEGOLAND; plus water parks, historic and cultural sites, botanical gardens, museums and galleries, zoos and aquariums and the 200 state and national parks, forests, and wildlife refuges that offer outdoor adventures every day of the year. And let's not forget the Everglades, “The River of Grass” of literary legend and one of the wild wonders of the world where one can take a tour via an airboat or set off into the unknown with a swamp walk.  And Cape Canaveral, the world’s launchpad for space flights and shuttles such as Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo.
